The Crown Prince of the governing family in Dubai, Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during an official visit to our country, was received in audience on 14th May, at the People’s Palace in Malabo, by the Vice-President of the Republic, Charged with National Defence and State Security, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue.
During the meeting, the first between the two figures, they covered matters regarding cooperation in the diplomatic and economic sectors, for the benefit of the governments of Equatorial Guinea and Dubai.
According to official sources, the experts from the two governments’ teams will work together to sign a memorandum of understanding, and to outline the technical aspects of the cooperation proposal.
For his part, the Vice-President of the Republic, who was accompanied in the audience by the Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Food, Nicolas Houtonji Acapo, and the head of Finance, the Economy and Planning, Lucas Abaga Nchama, among others, expressed satisfaction regarding the interest shown by the Government of Dubai in cooperating and investing in our country in important sectors such as agriculture, education and energy. In addition, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue notified his opposite number that the Malabo Government would do everything in its power to execute these projects.
