In addition to the three cooperation agreements resulting from meetings held between the delegations from Equatorial Guinea and Mozambique, on 9th April H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo expressed the desire of his Government to boost these relations in other key sectors, such as the training of human resources, at a meeting held with young Equatoguineans who are in higher education in Maputo.
The meeting with students from our country took place in the presence of the First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, together with members of our delegation.
The young people -laboratory, electro-medicine and theologians- heard various reflections from the Head of State and received economic support from the Government.
“Our priority is the training of human resources, and to provide the country with senior management, whether trained in foreign or national universities”, said the President, while advising that they investigate further and specialise in their studies.
Following this final activity on the schedule in Mozambique, the senior Equatoguinean delegation returned to Equatorial Guinea. At Maputo International Airport, they were seen off by the Minister for Foreign Business and Cooperation, with the corresponding military and ceremonial honours.
