The Ministry for Information, Press and Radio was praised by the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, in the name of the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, for its effective participation and organisation of the information sector in the grand parade marking the 50th Anniversary of National Independence.
As he is doing in all ministerial departments, the prime Minister visited, on the morning of Monday 29th October, the Ministry for Information, to pass on the congratulations of the President of the Republic for the brilliant appearance by the ministry during the popular parade.
That encounter, which was led by the Minister for Information, Eugenio Nze Obiang, was also attended by the Vice-Minister, Virgilio Seriche, the secretaries of State, director generals and officials from the ministry.
Obama Asue pointed out several emotional moments from the parade highlighted by the President, such a the mass participation of all the areas from around the country.
He also congratulated the Minister for Information for the good work he is doing in the sector, praising the programme “memoria”, for showing the history of Equatorial Guinea. Furthermore, he read the document that granted national Independence to our country.
Finally he asked for punctuality, responsibility and a control of income.
