The Vice-President of the Cuban State Council, Mercedes Lopez, began a tour of Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana and Seychelles on 4th February. On Wednesday 7th February she arrives in Malabo on the second stage of her trip
The aim of the trip by Mercedes Lopez Acea is to strengthen the ties of friendship and solidarity between the Republic of Cuba and the countries to be visited.
In accordance with the programme for her stay in our country, in addition to her meeting with the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, she will also meet the leaders of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs; the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Gaudencio Mohaba Mesu, and the President of the Senate, Teresa Efua Asangono.
Furthermore, during the 48 hours she will spend in Malabo, the Vice-President of the State Council will hold a meeting with the General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro.
