During intense activity on his stay in Sudan, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, accompanied by members of his delegation, made visits to various training centres, industrial facilities and laboratories.
On these visits the President was able to see the facilities at a variety of industrial sites, and expressed interest on the need for some of the technology to be transferred to the Equatoguinean people, through workshops and training courses.
One of the places visited was the Mint, the petroleum laboratory and training centre, and the Yar-Muk industrial complex. He was also the recipient of various gifts as souvenirs of his visit to Jartum.
The Vice-Minister to the Presidency of the Republic, Charged with Translations, Armando Dougan Champon, was one of the members of the mission, together with various director generals.
Before setting off on the return journey to Malabo, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo had a courtesy audience with his counterpart at the Presidential Palace in the capital of the Republic of North Sudan.
