Constancia Mangue de Obiang made, on the one hand, a visit to Sampaka Psychiatric Center, and on the other, to the Regional Hospital of Malabo.
In recent days, the First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, visited some of the most important health centers in Malabo. First, she went to the Malabo Psychiatric Center, founded by herself, to hear the report of activities and the evolution of one of the patients.
Then, she went to the Regional Hospital in the capital. The Honorific President of Support for the Equatorial Guinean Child (CANIGE) made a surprise visit to experience the state of the hospital. First, her main concern was to know the condition of the building that houses the hospital facilities in the city. But she finally decided to take an in-depth interest in the Maternity and Children’s department, where she spoke with the young patients and their families, to ask them about their ailments and know more about their illnesses.
After this review, the First Lady requested the transfer of some of the hospitalized patients to the La Paz Polyclinic of Malabo, depending on the severity of their illnesses.
Constancia Mangue de Obiang also gave some advice and recommendations to the directors and professionals in the hospital, such as for them to write up their reports on time about problems in the workplace, so they can find solutions at the right time.
