In the last hours of Monday afternoon, February 9, the Secretary of State of France, in charge of Development and Francophonie, Annick Girardin, visited the Institute of French Expression and the French School of Malabo.
After her arrival in Malabo, at the invitation of the Equatoguinean Government in the framework of the holding of the African Cup of Nations, CAN 2015, the Secretary of State of France made various visits in the capital, accompanied by some members of the Government.
On Monday, February 9, Annick Girardin went to the French School along with the Ambassador of France in Equatorial Guinea, François Barateau, where she was informed on the activities and the functioning of the centre. She also interviewed the students and the professors, whom she congratulated for the great work they are doing.
She then went to the Institute of French Expression, and was received by its director to accompany her in the visit through the installations: the music room, the two libraries (adult’s and children’s) and the concert scenario.
