Women from the district of Mongomo were up early on Saturday 15th July, to greet and congratulate the First Lady of the Nation, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, on her recent appointment as Vice-President of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), during the VI Ordinary National Congress, held in Bata from 4th to 6th July.
Led by the Deputy General Secretary of the PDGE, Jesusa Obono Engono Nchama, the women from the district of Mongomo wished Mangue de Obiang peace, prosperity and strength in her new task as Vice-President.
The First Lady was appointed for the post alongside A�ngel Serafin Seriche Dougan Malabo, Evangelina Filomena Oyo Ebule, and Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, Vice-President of the Republic.
The early morning greeting of 15th July included a selection of food and articles, as a demonstration of traditional Bantu hospitality.
