The Minister for Telecommunications and New Technologies, Maximiliano Martin Meko Abeme, has held a meeting in Portugal to look at aspects regarding preparations for the Summit of Telecommunications Ministers from the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), which will take place in 2018 in Equatorial Guinea.
During his trip, the minister Maximiliano Martin Meko Abeme held his first meeting with those responsible for this department in Portugal. Among the matters discussed were strategies at an international level for the development of the digital economy and its growth, together with an improvement in the administration and adoption of digital solutions for a more efficient presentation of public services.
In addition, he met the executive secretary of the community, Maria Do Carmo Seveira, to look at aspects regarding the summit of ministers which will be hosted by Equatorial Guinea next year.
During the meeting, the Equatoguinean minister was accompanied by the accredited Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Portugal and before the CPLP, Tito Mba Ada, and the Director General of Telecommunications and New Technologies, Jose Luis Nsue MaAana, among others.
Following the session, the minister travelled to Brazil to continue with his work schedule.
