A delegation of businessmen from the Chamber of Commerce of Tortosa (Spain), is in our country, and was received on Thursday. February 26, by the presidents of the Chamber of Commerce of Bioko and the Continental Region, Gregorio Boho Camo and Severino Ondo Nguema, respectively.
The Chamber of Commerce of Tortosa, is one of the 68 chambers that are in Spain and represents all the chambers of that country in Equatorial Guinea. Its mission is to organize trade missions to develop the business environment between Equatorial Guinea and Spanish companies, working closely with the chambers of Bioko and the Continental Region.
Gregorio Boho Camo, in addition to recognizing the existing cooperation between the two business organizations, requested the Chamber of Commerce of Tortosa to organize basic courses for Equatorial Guinean entrepreneurs. “It is time to establish fruitful business relations between Spain and Equatorial Guinea, considering the development agenda of our country in view of Horizon 2020,” said Boho Camo.
Regarding trade relations between the Chamber of Commerce of Tortosa with those of Equatorial Guinea, Francesc Minguell, Director of the Chamber of Commerce of Tortosa, stressed that they are excellent. “I think the Chambers of Commerce are key so that the companies of both countries can have relationships based on trust to generate business,” he said.
