This workshop on social coexistence and the mediation of marital conflicts, among other matters, which has already been carried out in all the headwaters and provinces of the continent, now moves the insular part. On December 11, it was inaugurated with the presence of the counselors and presidents of the neighborhood communities of different urban districts of Malabo.
The inauguration was chaired by the General Director of Social Affairs, Diosdado Faustino Boquesa, who clarified that the workshop is not an awareness-raising talk, but rather a training to put into practice.
The course addresses issues such as social coexistence, mediation of marital, family and community conflicts and the prevention of violence, sexual abuse, exploitation, trafficking and the illicit trafficking of minors and women.
The Ministry of Social Affairs, in collaboration with UNICEF, aims to equip participants with strategies and tools to protect the rights of women and children.
