Ouagadougou: The National Coordination of Community Teachers of Burkina Faso has made a significant contribution to the Faso Mebo initiative by donating 2 tons of cement, 10 shovels, and 50 packets of water. This donation is aimed at supporting the patriotic momentum initiated by the Head of State, reflecting a strong commitment to national development and unity.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Mikailou Ouedraogo, the national coordinator of community teachers and a VDP teacher at the Loroum provincial high school, emphasized that this gesture is a dynamic response to the patriotic call of His Excellency Comrade Captain Ibrahim TRAORE. The National Coordination praised the efforts of the active forces involved in Faso Mebo and urged the youth to demonstrate greater patriotic commitment. It also encouraged workers to continue their efforts towards national reconstruction.
In addition, the Coordination expressed gratitude to the Minister of Basic Education, Jacques Sosthene DINGARA, and the Minister of the Civil Service, Mathias TRAORE, for integrating 479 community teachers into the Civil Service. The call for urgent measures was also directed at the Minister in charge of Secondary Education and other authorities, highlighting the need for the integration of community teachers in post-primary and secondary education, especially in high-challenge areas.
Mr. Ouedraogo concluded by thanking all community teachers for their active participation in the national territory’s reconquest and their unwavering commitment to advancing national education.
