Burkinabe Encouraged to Foster a Nation of Order and Discipline During Patriotic Commitment Days


Kenedougou: The High Commissioner of the Kenedougou province, Saidou Sakira, has invited the Burkinabe people to transform the country into a nation characterized by order, discipline, probity, and justice. This appeal was made in Orodara during the flag-raising ceremony that marked the beginning of the activities for the second fortnight of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JNEPPC).



According to Burkina Information Agency, the event launched the second edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation with various interventions following the flag-raising ceremony. High Commissioner Saidou Sakira delivered a message from the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, encouraging citizens to embody these values.



The ceremony also featured input from the provincial director in charge of primary education in Kenedougou, Pie Coulibaly, who praised the involvement of stakeholders in promoting patriotic ideals. Meanwhile, the provincial director of secondary education, vocational, and technical training discussed a structured message around five key areas for a successful school year, urging collective efforts in building a strong and united Burkina Faso.



Additionally, Dr. Idrissa Evariste Dakyo, the chief physician of the Orodara health district, addressed the activities of “Pink October,” a month dedicated to combating female cancers such as breast cancer. He emphasized the importance of awareness and early detection in the fight against these diseases.
