Congolese Prime Minister Meets President of Faso to Deliver Message of Support

Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAOR‚¬Å¡¬°, was visited on Tuesday by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Congo, Anatole Collinet MAKOSSO. The Prime Minister delivered a message from President D©nis SASSOU-N'GUESSO to Captain TRAOR‚¬Å¡¬°, expressing appreciation for his leadership.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Congolese Prime Minister highlighted the commitment and determination shown by Captain TRAOR‚¬Å¡¬°. The message from President SASSOU-N'GUESSO conveyed support and comfort to Burkinabe authorities and assured them of Congo's willingness to support ongoing processes in the country.

The emissary praised the reforms being undertaken in Burkina Faso in agriculture, the economy, social affairs, and infrastructure. These efforts have earned the admiration of the Congolese authorities.

In addition to delivering the message, discussions included Congo's request for Burkina Faso's support for Edouard Firmin Makoto's candidacy for the position of Director-General of UNESCO. The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the favorable reception by President TRAOR‚¬Å¡¬°.
