Bobo-dioulasso: The constituted bodies of the Guiriko region, under the leadership of Governor Mariama Konat©, have stepped forward with a significant contribution totaling 5,090,000 FCFA to support the presidential initiative Faso Mªbo. The handover took place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in Bobo-Dioulasso, witnessed by several administrative and security authorities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation comprises 310 tons of crushed granite valued at 4,030,000 FCFA, 5 tons of cement worth 550,000 FCFA, fuel voucher support amounting to 500,000 FCFA, and 4 packs of face masks valued at 10,000 FCFA. This collective effort was meticulously coordinated by Governor Konat© over a month-long period.

During the handover ceremony, the High Commissioner of Houet Province, Laurent Koudougou Kontogom, presented the donation to Captain Mamadou H©ma, who leads the sanitation and beautification component of Faso Mªbo. Governor Konat© expressed her appreciation for the solidarity demonstrated by the constituted bodies, emphasizing the importance of action over mere awareness.

Captain Mamadou H©ma acknowledged the contribution, praising the patriotic spirit that has been evident in the region since the initiative's inception. He stated that contributions like these are essential to the success of Faso Mªbo.

In addition to the support for Faso Mªbo, the region's constituent bodies have also committed to contributing 5,000,000 FCFA to a project aimed at constructing 50 housing units in Moami. This pledge, equivalent to the cost of a villa, is set to be delivered in the coming days.
