Ouagadougou: Lowgoin FC of Toma, recently promoted to Ligue 2 in the province of Nayala, has announced its contribution to the presidential initiative "Faso Mªbo" by donating their promotion bonus for the acquisition of aggregates. The announcement was made on Saturday, August 23, 2025, as part of their commitment to support national projects.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of Lowgoin FC de Toma, Jacques Dalla, stated, "We support the initiative of captain Ibrahim Traor©, that's why we are here, to donate our promotion bonus to Ligue 2 for the acquisition of aggregates." He acknowledged that the bonus has not yet been received, but the club has organized internally to provide the equivalent amount to the Faso Mªbo initiative.
Mr. Dalla made these remarks in Ouagadougou during the official presentation of their promotion bonus to the initiative aimed at purchasing aggregates. He emphasized that their ability to travel and play in different cities like Toma, Ouahigouya, and Banfora is due to the existing security and infrastructure, which they aim to support through this donation.
The president urged other Burkinabe athletes to join in supporting the Faso Mªbo initiative, expressing a desire for it to further expand into sports infrastructure development.
