Nando: The Ministry of Humanitarian Action and National Solidarity (MAHSN) organized a mini-press conference on Monday in the humanitarian action room of the Koudougou administrative building, to mark the official launch of a field trip by the Directorate of Communication and Press Relations (DCRP) in the Nando region. This initiative, scheduled from October 13 to 17, 2025, in the localities of Koudougou, Reo, Leo, and Sapouy, aims to promote high-impact actions in favor of vulnerable populations through the production of audiovisual reports and press articles.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the themes covered during this event include the recovery of internally displaced persons, the empowerment of vulnerable groups, community initiatives, social cohesion, and local successes. Representing the Director of Humanitarian Communication, Songobsida Cesar Roamba emphasized the importance of strengthening the synergy of actions between the media and the ministry, while praising the mobilization of local journalists.
Roland Kielem, the regional director of Humanitarian Action and National Solidarity of Nando, expressed gratitude towards the press for its ongoing commitment to disseminating solidarity and resilience actions. Participants appreciated this initiative as it raises awareness of the government's efforts to promote cohesion and communal living.
