Mouhoun Teachers Conclude Annual Conference with Commitment to Educational Reforms

Mouhoun: The Basic Education District of the commune of Douroula organized the annual pedagogical conference for teachers from October 15 to 18, 2025, concluding under the chairmanship of Maxime Bakouan, President of the special delegation of the commune.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference's closing ceremony, held on October 18, 2025, revolved around the theme "Implementation of educational reforms and appropriation of integration situations." The event saw significant participation from teachers across various schools. Inspector Hilaire Dioma, Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB), expressed satisfaction in organizing the first educational conference in Douroula following a two-year hiatus. He emphasized the teachers' readiness to implement the knowledge acquired during the conference in their classrooms.

Maxime Bakouan, President of the Special Delegation, commended the conference's communications, describing them as a valuable framework for professional enrichment. He expressed gratitude to national authorities for their support in building teachers' capacities and praised the organizers for the session's success. Bakouan highlighted the importance of such initiatives in contributing to the national education system's overhaul.

Participants at the conference committed to applying the acquired knowledge and skills, including innovations in English, ICT, and vocational introductions, in their teaching practices. They expressed determination to follow the pedagogical, methodological, and ethical orientations discussed, aiming to enhance teaching quality and support educational reforms.
