Kouka: Primary school teachers from the Kouka Basic Education District gathered at the Kouka Public Primary School for the official opening of their annual pedagogical conference. The event was led by Lale Joanny Kiogo, the district's head, and attended by the Secretary General of the Kouka commune, who represented the President of the special delegation.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference is part of a larger initiative where various districts in Burkina Faso hold similar educational conferences. The event brought together the head of the CEB, teachers, and the general secretary of the Kouka commune. The conference was officially opened by the special delegation's president's representative.
Over the course of four days, the conference will focus on the theme: "Implementation of educational reforms and the appropriation of integration situations." Additionally, discussions will center around "The Orientation Framework for Continuing Education and Pedagogical Supervision (COFCEP)."
The conference aims to enhance pedagogical organization and strengthen the continuing education of educators in the field. Bagre O Cyrille, the general secretary of the commune, shared the opening speech of the minister of basic education, literacy, and the promotion of national languages with participants.
Bagre O Cyrille emphasized the importance of integrating educational reforms by educational supervisors and teachers, stating, "The success of educational reforms depends on their appropriation by educational supervisors and preschool and primary school teachers. You are at the forefront of this process. As participants in this conference, you have the responsibility to appropriate the content in order to effectively relay it in your various structures."
