The Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, during his stay in New York, visited on Thursday 1st June to tourist area of the World Trade Center, where the Twin Towers had stood, together with Trinity Church, a basilica located at the heart of Wall Street.
The visit by the Prime Minister began in the commemorative square at the World Trade Center, where the names of the victims of September 11th are written.
A few metres from the square, he visited One World Trade Center, or Liberty Tower, which replaced the Twin Towers, and opened its doors to the public on 3rd November 2014, eight years after the attacks.
After that, the Prime Minister went to Trinity Church and spent a moment in prayer, before visiting the various areas in the neo-classical basilica, a work by the American architect, Richard Upjohn.
