Six persons sustained several degrees of injury in two separate accidents on Asukawkaw Bridge in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region. The first accident was recorded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs vehicle with two persons injured, while the second accident involved the 'Afe Lotto' vehicle with four persons onboard being injured. The injured victims are receiving treatment at WoraWora Government Hospital in the Biakoye District. Mr. Mark Odoro, the Assembly Member of Asukawkaw Electoral Area confirmed this to the Ghana News Agency (GNA). Drivers and pedestrians using the WoraWora-Dambai Highway for many years have expressed worry over the slippery nature of the metal plate on the steel bridge that links Biakoye to Krachi East Municipality.
