Djibo: Residents mobilize for massive reforestation: On the occasion of the National Tree Days, the municipality of Djibo organized, this Saturday, August 9, 2025, a vast reforestation operation within the grounds of Primary School A. More than a hundred seedlings were planted thanks to an exemplary mobilization of the authorities and the population.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative was spearheaded by the community's youth collective, aligning with the National Tree Days. The operation successfully led to the planting of over a hundred plants of various species, representing a significant environmental effort in the region.
The event's official launch was overseen by the High Commissioner of Soum Province, Mr. Wend N©r© Wilfried Tougouma. He not only initiated the planting but also participated actively in it.
