K©n©dougou High Commissioner Launches Patriotic Immersion for Graduates

K©n©dougou: The High Commissioner of the K©n©dougou province, Sadou Sakira, officially inaugurated the patriotic immersion program for recent high school graduates at the Diongolo Traor© Provincial High School in Orodara. He encouraged the participants to maintain discipline, attentiveness, and commitment throughout the program.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the patriotic immersion initiative was established by a decree in the Council of Ministers on May 2, 2025. It mandates that all students who pass school exams participate in this program. The initiative aims to reinforce Burkinabe society, support national development, and consolidate civic values.

The inauguration ceremony was chaired by High Commissioner Sadou Sakira and featured the performance of the national anthem and several speeches. The provincial director in charge of secondary education in K©n©dougou, Lassina Coulibaly, praised the authorities' commitment to this reform, emphasizing that the program seeks to develop citizens and patriots who will have a positive impact on the nation.

High Commissioner Sakira expressed gratitude to the national authorities for implementing this initiative. He urged participants to adhere to the instructions provided by their supervisors, as these are designed to prepare them to become agents of change for their communities and the nation at large.
