According to Burkina Information Agency, the award ceremony, sponsored by the governor of the Guiriko region, Mariama Konat©/Gnanou, brought together former students and administrative authorities. The president of the association, Dramane Demb©l©, noted that this gesture results from the material, financial, and moral contributions of the association's members. "We thank the Governor who agreed to sponsor our donation day, as well as all the comrades who supported us from near and far," he said.

The Governor expressed her joy at seeing such an initiative come to fruition and praised the association's commitment. "This is not a small contribution. What matters is the spirit that inspired you to mobilize these resources," she emphasized.
