Nakamb©: The Tenkodogo Road and Passenger Transporters' Union (STRV/T) offered equipment on Tuesday to the local brigade of Faso Mªbo, to support the sanitation and environmental protection actions carried out as part of the presidential program.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the union's president, Hamadi Bougouma, handed over, on behalf of his members, a granite skip, 17 cans of used oil, 4 bags of sealite, and 60 pairs of gloves to the Faso Mªbo brigade in Tenkodogo. "We are proud of what the President and the Government are accomplishing. That is why we have mobilized our members to support the efforts to build our country," he stated.
The donation was received by the president of the special delegation of the commune of Tenkodogo, Sami B©renger Pooda, who welcomed this gesture, describing it as timely and relevant to support the objectives set by the regional coordination of Faso Mªbo. Mr. Pooda took the opportunity to invite all transporters in the region and national road users to follow the STRV/T and to further support this presidential initiative.
He also reiterated the importance for transporters to respect the highway code, in order to contribute to road safety and the preservation of national infrastructure. This gesture by STRV/T demonstrates the commitment of Tenkodogo transporters to civic and environmental actions.
For the authorities, this mobilization reflects the conviction that the success of Faso Mªbo depends on the active participation of all social classes.
