According to Burkina Information Agency, the activity was chaired by the first vice-president of the special delegation of Kampti, Bebe Kambire, and included producers, agricultural technicians, and partners. Mr. Kambire, speaking on behalf of the president of the special delegation, emphasized the commitment to support projects in Kampti for the benefit of the population.
The provincial director of Agriculture and Animal Resources of Poni, Pascal W. Kabore, highlighted the workshop's role in equipping producers with more resilient agricultural practices. He expressed gratitude to the partner and congratulated the agricultural zone agents who led the activities. He also encouraged unsuccessful cooperatives and those working towards compliance with new laws to continue their efforts, noting that opportunities are available for those meeting the criteria.
Action Against Hunger, the partner organization, expressed satisfaction with the collaboration between the special delegation, the provincial directorate in charge of agriculture and animal resources, and the quality of the workshop. The heads of the ZATA and ZATE agricultural zones, Sanou Kouesse and Yameogo Ismael, respectively, supervised group work focused on mapping producers' organizations, assessing capacity building needs, and defining selection criteria.
