Gaoua: Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ou©draogo held significant meetings with administrative and military authorities in Gaoua, Dj´r´ region. The discussions focused on current major issues, action priorities, and strategies to enhance territorial governance and security efforts.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the first meeting involved Governor Siaka Barro, who appreciated the Prime Minister's initiative to engage with local stakeholders. He expressed gratitude for the government's attention to the region's realities and reiterated support for initiatives related to national sovereignty and community development. The Governor emphasized the importance of completing the Regional University Hospital Center (CHRU) in Gaoua, a project anticipated to significantly enhance healthcare access in the region.
The second audience focused on the Defense and Security Forces, where Lieutenant Colonel Lassan© Porgo, commander of the 2nd military region, expressed the troops' commitment to stabilizing the country. The Prime Minister encouraged the forces and stressed the importance of cohesion between the military and civilians. Commander Porgo highlighted the strategic importance of the Dj´r´ region and reassured the morale and commitment of the troops.
