The programme of activities for the APPO CAPE VII Congress, which is taking place in the city of Malabo from 2nd to 5th April, began with the arrival of delegations from the countries taking part in the event.
As established, the activities begin on 2nd April, with a gala dinner for government members, ministers, heads from national oil companies and executives from international oil companies.
On Wednesday 3rd April, the opening of the work of the Congress in Planned, at eight in the morning, with the arrival of Heads of State and other Government members. In accordance with the order of speeches, the first to speak will be APPO General Secretary, Mahaman Laouan Gaya, followed by the Minister for Mines and Hydrocarbons, Gabriel Mbega Obiang Lima, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and the President of APPO, Emanuel Ibe Kachikwu.
After the opening event, the debates at the summit will begin on the focus of regional cooperation and medium and long term forecasts for the international oil market.
On 4th April the debates will continue on the challenges for financing and investing in the African oil industry, African countries producing oil, and the need for economic diversification.
On Friday 5th April there will be a closing session.
