Radio Burkina Staff Collaborate with Faso Mªbo to Enhance Urban Planning

Ouagadougou: On Friday, August 22, 2025, staff members of Burkina radio, led by Director Prosper Da, actively participated in the Faso Mªbo initiative, assisting in paving the front area of the radio station. This effort is part of a broader presidential initiative aimed at contributing to urban planning across the region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative saw radio workers joining the Faso Mªbo team to engage in tasks such as rubble collection, material movement, and providing logistical support. The director, Prosper Da, emphasized the voluntary nature of the staff's participation, highlighting their response to a call from RTB's General Director, Galip Som©. Da noted the diverse ways in which the staff contributed, including collecting paving stones and distributing refreshments to volunteers.

Linda Rosine Ou©draogo, a radio presenter involved in the day's efforts, expressed a sense of commitment to the initiative, which she believes will enhance the country's aesthetics. Her sentiments were echoed by Lazare Abdoul Razack Ilboudo, head of the paving section in Faso Mªbo, who appreciated the support from the radio workers, acknowledging their contribution to the presidential initiative.

Ilboudo further outlined the project's ambition to extend paving from the radio headquarters to the Charles de Gaulle pediatrics center. He encouraged other public services to emulate the example set by the Burkina radio workers and participate in the initiative.
