Kourittenga: Sports equipment manufacturer KRAS SPORT has made a significant donation to the presidential initiative Faso Mebo, with Hubert Zoungrana, the company's head, leading the contribution. The donation, consisting of 1 ton of cement, 10 shovels, 100 molds, and 1 bucket of sand, was handed over on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in Koupela in the presence of the Secretary General of Kourittenga Province, Fernand Wenceslas Y. N'do, who represented the High Commissioner.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Hubert Zoungrana, who is also the President and CEO of KRAS SPORT and sponsor of MAJEM Act 11, collaborated with the Youth in Motion Association (AJEM) for this donation to the Faso Mebo initiative. This act is in response to a call from the President of Faso, encouraging contributions to the development of cities and municipalities.
Hubert Zoungrana emphasized the importance of this contribution, stating, "KRAS SPORT came today to Koupela, where I am from, to start setting the tone. We will also do the same in other regions in order to contribute a little to the building of this beautiful province of Kourittenga."
The gesture underlines the civic commitment of Hubert Zoungrana and AJEM to support local initiatives. They extended an invitation to the community to participate actively in the development efforts. "I appeal to all the sons and daughters of Kourittenga. We encourage them to come and contribute to building our cities, which we say we love," Zoungrana urged.
The Faso Mebo initiative, which aims to enhance local development, was launched in Kourittenga on August 19, 2025.
