During 10th May, the most anticipated meeting of the presidential couple’s State trip took place which they will attend in Saudi Arabia. This was the royal reception for the President of the Republic, S. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo by H.M. the King Salman bin Abdulaziz, in the Royal Palace of the economic and oil-bearing power of the Middle East.
In the presence of the members of both delegations and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the meeting was a platform for signing two cooperative agreements.
A memorandum of understanding and political and diplomatic negotiations between the two Foreign Ministers, and the cooperative framework agreement for the two nations were signed under the watchful eye of both Heads of State.
S. M. Salman bin Abdulaziz and S. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo also took advantage of the moment to exchange opinions on the profound relations that unite Saudi Arabia and Equatorial Guinea.
The presentations and greetings by the Royal Council of Ministers were another one of the moments of the meeting that concluded with the traditional toast of tea, as a symbol of good friendship and respect between the two public figures.
