Passor©: Health Actors Contribute 720,000 CFA Francs to the Patriotic Support Fund

Passor©: Health sector stakeholders in Passor©, led by Dr. Ouss©ni Sawadogo, chief physician of the Yako health district, have delivered a receipt for 720,000 CFA francs to the Patriotic Support Fund (FSP). This contribution represents the collective effort of the province's health link stakeholders.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this contribution was made in response to a national solidarity and patriotic commitment call issued by the Burkinabe government. Health actors, including public, private, and traditional practitioners in Passor© province, have demonstrated their dedication to the cause through this financial support.

The delegation began by visiting the main Treasury of Passor© to deposit the collected funds. With the receipt in hand, they proceeded to meet No©lie B©r©houmdougou, the province's secretary general and representative of the high commissioner of Passor©, to present the document.

The solidarity initiative was a direct result of a voluntary contribution call from the Yako health district. The call encouraged all members of the Passor© health sector-doctors, nurses, midwives, community health workers, administrative staff, and traditional practitioners-to engage in the national effort.

Dr. Ouss©ni Sawadogo, speaking on behalf of his colleagues, highlighted the essential role of health workers in saving lives and emphasized their duty to support the collective effort to safeguard peace and national integrity. He noted that the contribution symbolizes the solidarity and resilience of Burkina Faso's health workers.

The province's secretary general praised the initiative, urging other sectors to follow the example set by the health sector. She expressed her satisfaction with the contribution, viewing it as a powerful signal of unity and cohesion within the health sector in Passor©.
