Namentenga: The High Commissioner of the province of Namentenga, Adama Conseiga, attended the harvest of the first 6-month production cycle of catfish by the Association for Integrated Development Gu©sb©ogo (ADIG) in Boulsa. This event marks a significant step in the region's agro-pastoral efforts aimed at achieving food sovereignty in Burkina Faso.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the President of ADIG, Blaise Sandouidi, highlighted that the catfish production project received financial support from the German association Menchen Ohne Ketten. The initiative involves the active participation of internally displaced persons in the province of Namentenga, providing them with vital opportunities and resources.
